Senior Java Analyst Programmer at CHEP

Good day everybody, just posting a job listing on behalf of a friend:

CHEP, a global pallet and container pooling company with offices in South Africa, is currently recruiting for a Senior Java Analyst Programmer, essentially an experienced Java programmer who can also be trained in SAP specifics.

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:

Qualifications:

- Must have a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology.
- Certifications in Java, Java Enterprise Edition, ABAP are preferable.

Experience:

- 5 years experience in IT
- Must have specific industry experience with J2EE with time spent doing analysis and programming.
- Experience developing web applications for geographically dispersed user base

Skills:

- Must have solid J2EE, with MVC design pattern experience
- Able to develop solutions in SAP Netweaver WebDynpro is preferable
- Able to troubleshoot ABAP code (preferably able to enhance too)
- Committed to continual learning for self and team members

So Oliver, what type of games does your company make?

Well... the job listing is for a decidedly non game development company - I was just assisting a friend by posting the opportunity here on SAGD because I thought there might, perchance, be an experienced Java programmer in the Durban area looking for work/change in direction. If anyone's interested in the position, I would recommend contacting the company for details as I have no further information.
